Reviews
A must-read for clutter victims. Schechter makes a complex subject manageable and fun. Her fireside chat writing style will make you laugh and get you motivated to put the kibosh on clutter. Case in point: Reading Let Go of Clutter propelled me toward several nasty mountains of filing that had been crying for my attention.

John didn't want children, so instead Eleanor used her energies to help run the company and get involved in the local community. So imagine her horror when, one day, she discovers that her husband has led a secret life for twenty years, in the shape of a mistress and a nineteen-year-old daughter the daughter that she herself never had.The jealousy that Eleanor feels is all-consuming, driving her to limits she would never have thought possible. Then John, badly injured in a car crash, becomes a victim of PVS Persistent Vegetative State. Although he is capable of communicating by the tiniest of signals, he has no quality of life. And so arises the ultimate question and the ultimate opportunity for revenge. Should he live, or should he die? John's fate hangs in the balance as the three women he deceived and betrayed decide upon the answer.

  • Let Go of Clutter by Harriet Schechter (2000)

I enjoyed reading this book. After finishing it about a month ago, I'm still inspired and *continuing* to declutter my living space. The key as she mentioned in the book was letting go of your stuff emotionally. I'm still working on that with a slow, but advancing step. The past few weeks I've been getting rid of my stuff here and there. I give credit to this book for that action.

  • It is a work in progress. leting of stuff is hard.

I have a lot of stuff to go through. and I am still deciding what to let go of..Now my biggest problem is finding the time to put the book to good use...
