product works converting VGA to HDMI output. But only maximum resolution of 1024x768 -- not high resolution. I can get 1440x960 using raw VGA. Should work for slides or presentation, but not for general desktop pc replacement. I'm using Linux mint 21.2. Maybe it works better in Windows, but have not tried it. I wish the resolution modes were described for this product, but it is not specified.
