    Sounds of Silence

    Simon and Garfunkel came along during a pivotaltime in music Their music became part of soundtracks such as The Graduate and so many more. The team scored highest with this Cd as it features their hit sounds of Silence and their earliest recordings besides Wednesday Morning 3a.m. I enjoyed every minute of the Cd and strongly recommend it to others. The 60s were a tumultuous period which spawned the types of music we shall never see again. I could write a real BS article here but decided to just tell the truth. If you like early folk rock, this is the album for you . Otherwise. look elsewhere.

    This was only the Beginning

    This CD is a faithful reporoduction of the original vinyl release. It does have four extra tracks of preiously unreleased material. These extra tracks present a slightly different side of the duo. These resordings are not quite as polished as the rest of the album, but nonetheless are typical of their early folk beginnings. The title song is a classic and an excellent slice of that time period. A scary, yet truthful statement about our society. Listen and enjoy.
