Even though this item was supposedly shipped the next day, my item took 7 more days to show up. When it was delivered it arrived when it was snowing and was not properly packaged to withstand the moisture and was even torn open in one corner. As a result, I'm not sure if the description of the manual was correct or not since it had been open to the elements in transit. The seller was good to work with in selling this item. He was generous in giving us an additional discount.

    Go Kill A Deer

    This has been my go to deer call. It lasts for years. You should know various techniques for using it to mimic different calls that does make, because if you only just tip it, it's not an estrus bleat sound. It's more like a "I'm in trouble" call and during hunting season, not many deer will come to rescue...lol

    Works best when you discover how to "blow" the call rather than simply turning it over and over.

    I'm not saying it is better than I expected. It does not seem to emit the volume that those I have previously owned have had. But in all honesty,my hearing is not what it once was,so maybe I'm picking nits? It is however,as good as I expected.

    I was out on my ranch and decided to use this in the late season. Just wanted to see if anything would show up. I was using it with a grunt caller to simulate a buck and doe and oh boy did it work. Had quite a few deer respond to this call even on it own. In conjunction with a grunt caller it’s a wicked. I recommend.
