I didn't know that they were also a skate shoe. I'm an adult beginner skateboarder who wanted an alternative to Vans. The trainers arrived quickly in the original box as advertised - new, black and a size 7 at a good price. I wore them two days ago skateboarding. They're comfortable and wide in the toe box for my feet in this hot weather. I added insoles for arch support. So far, so good.
