An excellent replacement
I bought a sink plug as my current one was leaking - I could hear the water trickling down the drain...grrr These replacements are top quality, a perfect fit and far superior than the ones purchased from manufacturer and of course much better value. In fact I bought two, as I have a double sink! I would recommend these replacements for anybody with a posh sink who requires these type of plug wastes. ok for job but not the best
when the strainer came it needed assembley this was easy for me may not be for others.althouth the strainer is the correct size and fit , it does not sit properly in the sink ,meaning its either closed or leaving food waste get past it ,which i why you use a strainer to catch the waste .hence only three starrs for me.although the strainer part is correct the bar and barring part are wrong meaning it does not work properlywhen the strainer came it needed assembley this was easy for me may not be for others.althouth the strainer is the correct size and fit , it does not sit properly in the sink ,meaning its either closed or leaving food waste get past it ,which i why you use a strainer to catch the waste .hence only three starrs for me.although the strainer part is correct the bar and barring part are wrong meaning it does not work properly

Fits Astracast sink
I bought this as a replacement for the 3.5" plug in our Astracast sink as the rubber had perished. It fits well but after a day or so I noticed that the spring loaded ball in the stem wasn't as strong as the original and as a result the plug would be pushed down by the weight of the water and the sink wouldn't drain. This was easily rectified by unscrewing the original plug and using the stem from it instead.I bought this as a replacement for the 3.5" plug in our Astracast sink as the rubber had perished. Looks good. But seal pulls off every time you pull it up
Looks the part. But ever time u pull it up to let the water out of the sink. The rubber seal stays in the plug hole. Also u need to take into consideration the height of the strainer. As mine is a much lower profile. The small bits go down beside & underneath it. Even tho the water drains slowly as it only lifted enough to let water seep out. Can’t use normal position & flow as the bigger bits then also go down under it to the actual plug hole. I now know there is a lot more to a replacement than the hole size. Very disappointed with the quality of the seal just pushing into place. My old ones have metal both sides to hold it in place.Looks the part. Just What I needed
Lost the previous plug and the well known dig chain did not have a replacement to fit the sink which I bought from them. I searched the net and saw this one. I took a chance based on a picture. This turned out to be very successful. Saved me from buying two new drain assemblies.
