ST TNG Boxed set of all their movies is: a great value; well crafted; true bliss for fans, and a great intro for newcomers (if that's even possible). Overall I'm very happy to have these wonderful movies as they are snapshots in my life, like many baby boomers! Of course, again like many of my generation, I've tried for decades to get TOS, and their movies...then TNG the series and their movies! That was difficult and extremely expensive for video quality that frankly...stunk. VHS for the longest time was all we could get and even those took what seemed forever to finally become available. To have THIS SET of exquisitely crafted videos of one of the most enjoyed tv and movie productions of all time, in superb blu~ray high definition video resolution, seems like a dream. In my case, ... ST TNG Boxed set of all their movies is: a great value; well crafted; true bliss for fans, and a great intro for newcomers (if that's even possible). Overall I'm very happy to have these wonderful movies as they are snapshots in my life, like many baby boomers! Star Trek TNG - four terrific movies!
This Blu-ray DVD collection contains all 4 Next Generation movies plus a bonus disk entitled "Evolutions". "Generations" is the film where the original cast of Star Trek hand things off to the The Next Generation. A bit maudlin at times, but still worth it to see Kirk and Picard working together. Next is "First Contact", an enjoyable and humorous look back through time at the first warp flight and the first encounter of the human species with aliens. It also features the Borg, perhaps the greatest Trek "bad guys" of all time. Next comes Insurrections, which is my favorite of the bunch, thanks to its humor and touching subject matter. Finally we have Nemesis, my least favorite of the movies, but still worthwhile. But the best thing here is seeing these films in high-definition.
