Great as a room divider
Great as a room divider to box your pet off from places they shouldn't go. It expands to about what is stated in the description and so can be used in a variety of places and is easy to move around the house. However while it works fine to SHOW your pet where they shouldn't go, it wouldn't stand up to being jumped at, or even pushed with any force, as it is so lightweight. It wouldn't physically box off an energetic dog. The wood is also quite rough and the top keeps catching on my clothes. It was broken on first day
It's very flimsy. I have small dog. But she broke it within 30 mins of it being in place as my dog tried to get passed it. It's a good idea but it is flimsy and needs to be designed with thicker lattice. I think a redesign is necessary then it will be great. I am really sorry as i had such high hopes for this. It seemed such a good idea and I enthusiastically showed it friends when it first arrived. It was the lattice that came apart. Which meant it lost its effectiveness and was useless. Does what it says
Bought this to stop my french bulldog puppy getting to the stairs. The expanding feature means it fits across the hallway where as a normal baby gate wouldn't be big enough. The gap underneath is quite big but our 9 week old pup couldn't get under, after a couple of failed attempts to get underneath she's now given up. Does the job
Searched a long time for flexible portable expanding gate to contain 2 medium sized dogs, so pleased to find this one that does exactly that! Able to expand and contract to fill voids such as door frames, gaps between rooms and across stairs or corridors. Light and Sturdy
It comes well packaged with just the feet to be put on (4 bolts), although it comes in rough unfinished wood it is light and sturdy. Very easy to pull out and block the corridor, stairs etc., much easier than the child gate we have previously used. It is quite light and so while acting as a deterrent, it would not stop a large dog from breaching it. Quality is not great
This is flimsy and every time you attempt to move it shavings of the wood fall off. The gap at the bottom allows my small dog to slip though underneath which absolutely defeats the purpose for buying it.
