It contains four levels over three locations: a burning building, an underwater base, and a space station. <br><br>Choose between two futuristic firefighters, the powerful Shou Amabane or the graceful Tillis. Then jump into the heat armed with a fire-extinguishing cannon. As you make your way through the ruined complexes, you will find civilians who need rescuing. I'm not waiting a week to tell you that I am never ordering from this vendor again. Zero customer service, when I try to contact its not delivered. I appreciate the fact the game came quickly however the game though described as "very good" in condition didn't run in my Xbox and no matter what I did it will not read it. A good price for a cool PSP game, shipped promptly and packaged well. However, the UMD shell arrived cracked so the item wasn't exactly in good condition. The disc itself was fine. Rather than return the item, the seller offered a refund directly. I used the refund to buy some replacement UMD shells and got it working. Burning Rangers, one of the final Saturn games, was developed by Sonic Team. Sonic Team used the NiGHTS engine as a base for Burning Rangers, which remains one of the strongest looking Saturn games of the entire library. With this tech foundation, Sonic Team crafted a wholly competent (but somewhat workmanlike, as the Saturn was not as good at 3D as the PSone or N64) action-adventure game, elevated by its inventive premise and interesting atmosphere. The titular Burning Rangers are a team of sci-fi firefighters. In Burning Rangers, you are dispatched to four different emergencies around the galaxy. As one of the fire fighters, you will battle blazes in an underwater base, a space warehouse, and an orbital station. The main enemy in each stage is the inferno, but there are other hazards to ... While fighting the fires, you must also rescue trapped civilians. To save a victim, you use crystals to warp them to safety. These crystals operate not entirely unlike the rings in Sonic the Hedgehog. As long as you have at least one crystal, you cannot be killed. If the fire roasts you when your crystal count is zero, there's a hero's funeral in your immediate future. The main complaint with Burning Rangers is the length. With only four worlds, it's simply too short. This problem is compounded by how enjoyable the gameplay that is present in Burning Rangers is. Really, fighting fires is cool. The idea of putting out a blaze was awesome when you were seven and it's still an impressive job at 47. Dousing the fires in Burning Rangers with your Burneer Units was intuitive with the Saturn's excellent controller (you could also use the 3D control pad), as you approached the fire like a monster. Occasionally, the game gives you a break from the corridor-running with swimming sequences and zero-gravity segments. Now, when you do finish Burning Rangers, you unlock a random generator mode that scrambles the corridors in future sessions. That's a neat way to attempt longevity, but the game needs more defined worlds, not remixes of existing real estate.
