    It does its one job extremely well

    I've found it so simple to use this as a kitchen timer. With the addition of the number pad, it's a doddle to enter the time you want your food cooked for. The built-in alarm also has a range of volume settings, with the lowest being loud enough for me. So far, I haven't come across any negatives - it does its one job extremely well.
