Jim McCanns Great Irish Love Songs CD.
Jim McCann has a great voice!. Just listen to any one of these tracks and this will all you need to be convinced. For a few years in 1980's a member of the legendary Irish Folk group The Dubliners McCann has issued several solo albums over the years and is best known for the songs "Grace",and "Carrickfergus" which are good examples of his work. Now sadly retired due to Throat Cancer he still periodically introduces Dubliners concerts and his back catalogue is well worth searching out!. This compilation will do adequately if all you want is a Greatest Hits package,but the chances are that once you have heard this you may want to but further releases by McCann.Jim McCann has a great voice!.
