Product Information

Khaila Richards may be a crack addict but she's also the mother of a beautiful baby boy named Isaiah. One night, she finds herself desperate for a hit. So Khaila leaves the wailing infant swaddled in rags by a garbage dump. She returns the next morning in a panic, only to find that Isaiah's gone. Believing him dead, a devastated Khaila gets herself thrown into rehab where she struggles to change her life. Meanwhile, the previously crack-addicted infant is legally adopted by white social worker Margaret Lewin and her suburban family. Under the Lewins' care, Isaiah grows strong and healthy. But when a drug-free Khaila learns her baby's alive, she'll do everything in her power to get him back.

    The loss of a child

    The loss of a child it seems is comparable to the loss of a large portion of one's heart. A never-ending feeling of despair and despondency ensues with no hope of recovery. All of the feelings became more tangible through the expert acting in this film. Definitely a must have for any collection.

    Great wonderful 90s movies

    Losing Isaiah is definitely a great movie there lots of great actors in this film Hallie Barry is in it Jessica Lange Samuel L. Jackson and Cuba Gooding JR. Basically it's about adoption custody battles over Isaiah Richards but has a more better touch the actors are brilliant and amazing in it so I don't give lots away but I highly recommend it a must watch.
