Product matched photos exactly, very important as the item I purchased is old and many listings are extremely scuffed and marred. Seller worked with me to resolve shipping issues promptly and was respectful the whole way through. Package arrived on time after some worries with statuses not updating. The box was in terrible shape, although the item was fine. The shipping issues were not the sellers fault and they were responsive and professional the whole way through.

  • Worth reading more than once

I read the whole book in 1 1/2 weeks, I enjoyed it so much that I started to read it again immediately after finishing it. For me, there really wasn't anything to dislike about the book. It is a great account of what life was like on he road for Rudy Sarzo, as the bass player in the Blizzard of Ozz during both the Blizzard and Diary of a Madman tours. Rudy Sarzo goes on to describe his early years playing on stage with Randy Rhoads in the first version of Quiet Riot. He also desribes his experiences with others such as Ozzy Osbourne, Sharon Arden (Osbourne), Don Arden, Tommy Aldridge, Don Airey, and Motorhead. An entire chapter is dedicated to the circumstances surrounding the death of Randy Rhoads, the guitar player for the band. This could be a hard chapter for some to read, as ...

  • Off the Rails by Rudy Sarzo

Great read. I'm a big Randy Rhoads fan and this is great story material. Rudy has a easy writing style and although it lists show after show it is sprinkeled with stories of life on the road and dealing with Ozzy and the tour. Have just read where they had come to the show I saw and learned some interesting background info. Great stuff on all the band members, Sharon and there exploits. It also settled an arguement me and a bud that went to the show since it explained that the "castle set" wasn't used on the first tour. I saw RR and the Blizzard and it is still one of my favorite shows of all time. Since there is so little out there on RR this is a must have for all fans!

  • a pretty good read...If you are a Rhoads fan!

being a Randy Rhoads fan, i was very interested in this book, it was written by Rudy Sarzo,(the bass player for Quiet Riot when Randy was in the band), and the Blizzard of OZ and Diary of a Madman tour with Ozzy Osbourne. Lots of first hand information about what goes on with a bunch of people living in hotel rooms and on a tour bus. The book gave some insight into the personalities of Randy, Ozzy, and Sharon mostly. I finished the book in two evenings, because it was an area of interest to me personally. I do wish a bit more information would have been shared, i am left wondering about why Bob Daisley and Lee Kerslake were fired from Randy's point of view, and what Randy's thoughts were on the matter. The bulk of the book is just factual information (played in the town of...at the ...

  • Great read for the rock lover

This is one of the best insights into one of the most famous lineups in OZZYs history as well as a look behind the scenes into Randy Rhoads life,Quiet Riot's early years with Kevin Dubrow as well as the authur Rudy Sarzo's strugle to break into the sunset strip rock scene. Easy to read with writing that makes you feel like your there side by side with the band. You learn what it was like to be a part of the band when Ozzy was still trying to find his way after leaving Black Sabath. If you have ever wanted to know what it was like in this part of rock history this book will take you there.

  • A book that all fans should read. I bought another one for a friend.

A definite read for any Randy Rhoads fan. Rudy Sarzo wrote the book, and from his heart at that. It's not just about Ozzy or about himself, It's about everything they went through as band mates, friends, brothers. Don't get me wrong, He does tell a lot about OZZY, but from a refreshing point of view. I have to admit that it choked me up and had tears in my eyes cause we know what happened to Randy. A very tastefully written book that should be read by all the fans. Personally, I wish Rudy would write more. Thanks Rudy! RIP Randy
