The survey chain was advertised as being and antique and manufactured by JC Chesterman with brass handles. It did not look anything like the advertised photos. What I received was a poorly made reproduction of a 20 meter chain. It was not an antique and it was not manufactured by JC Chesterman. In addition, the handles were not brass. They were steel that had been dipped in yellow paint to make them look like brass. In addition 20 m was written on each handle with black permanent marker.

Not even a good copy! The black paint they used as antiquing agent was shotty at best. The handcuffs had a chain that was way too long. The length of the chain is more of a ankle restraint. That much chain could be wrapped around a guards neck. Get your facts right if you’re going to copy something. I would not buy this product again, and I do not recommend it
