The best pencil on the market just excellent
The quality of this product is top class. It is manufactured to a high standard and is subject to a vigourous quality check. Added to that the colour range andquality of colour is the best on the market. Itis no wonder that the pencils are far from cheap.

Great colour, consistency with other products
I have this set, I have replaced a couple of pencils as I used them up but this was easy and inexpensive. This set can last you forever, with you only replacing pencils when you need them. The tin is very sturdy, and has three plastic trays with little loops on each end for lifting. They are not flimsy. These watercolour pencils are not crumbly and can be used as coloured pencils or as water colour pencils, or blended with other products. They have good light-fastness, blend well and are a pleasure to use. The name and number of the colour is printed on each one. They sharpen well with either blades or sharpeners. The pencils are comfortable to hold. They erase well with the standard white eraser unless you have really pushed them into paper or have several layers. They layer up and ... Note- wet the pigment on the paper, not the pigment in the pencil, which can damage the pencil and the pigment. They have good coverage on all kinds of paper. Good for beginners who will appreciate and care for a good product, or professionals who want a reliable pencil that will always be the colour it claims to be. I really enjoy using these pencils, and they are a key part of my art kit.

Incredible colours
I have nearly every pencil brand made and Faber Castell rate as my favourite. These Albrecht Durer are just fabulously soft with glorious colours. Use plain or add water and they are wonderful either way so frankly a double use pencil. I bought the 60 box as it gets expensive in bigger lots but like my Polychromos I will simply keep adding by buying singles. Great idea that all companies should have so we can keep adding to collections when we can't afford to buy the entire sets straight off.I have nearly every pencil brand made and Faber Castell rate as my favourite. The best watercolour penclis.
I first bought 12, then a box of 36. Now I have the tin of 120. These Albrecht Durer pencils are so addictive. They are by far the best I've ever bought. I love all of the different shades of the same colour, it makes it so easy to be more creative. The lift out trays are rigid and easily removed, you do need a little bit of room to hold the pencils but that can be overcome with a bit of common sense. I first bought 12, then a box of 36.
