The Castafiore Emerald
This is not my favorite Tintin book, but it is a good one non the less. I though it is one of the more tame Herge books. Herge uses drama and minimal action to create this mystery around the Castafiore Emerald. It is set completely in Captain Haddock's Marlinspike Hall. This book is probably one of the least enjoyable Tintin's for the younger crowd because not much happened in it and not many locations were used. Buy it if you are a matuer Tintin collector, pass if it is for a younger Tintin lover.This is not my favorite Tintin book, but it is a good one non the less.
