 Stencil is made of plastic which is a little flimsy needs to be treated, gently. l used a gel pen and a felt tip one both bled slightly so I think it needs to be used with a fine pen if you can get it through the letters the pictures will be easier to stencil than the actual happy birthday last picture was with a Biro
