Great throwback viewing
I had talked about this series with wife, that I had seen back in 80's but was little about it and not repeated, which is surprising after David Morrisey's success as it was his first big role. Really enjoyed re-watching it and wife thoroughly enjoyed it too. Quality is not what we expect today but very watchable

Nostalgic Journey
Great to see again this excellent series from the seventies. I saw it first when I was not much older than the two boys that the story is about. It is set at first in Liverpool but soon changes to rural Wales - the contrast could not be greater. The acting, particularly from a teenaged David Morrissey, is excellent and the dated atmosphere of the seventies is brought out to advantage. If you have never seen it before, give yourself a treat and enjoy a classic.
