My parcel was open and the box inside too. You can see from my photos that the box was open and danaged. A fair amount of the figure parts were also broken off from their spues. The dates given to you for delivery was between 22nd till 27th and tracking shows this was delivered on the 22nd so exactly as advertised , delivered to you in 5 working days . A classic kit!
This kit has been produced since the 1970's and I think the molds are getting pretty worn. Parts fit reasonably well and the detail is pretty good. Some parts have very nice detail and others, not very realistic like the stage two engines.. I bought this instead of the Lego because it is a lot less expensive and you get an idea of the machinery and construction of the real rocket. With the lego, you just have a lot of pricey plastic with little idea of how the real thing was put together or worked. I think the Airfix Saturn V is a better kit, I discovered that after I had ordered this one. Saturn V rocket
model is ok for a static model of the Saturn V IF you don`t take it apart for display, as the second stage motors bear no resemblance to any rocket motors at all and completely devoid of any detail whatsoever, the third stage is not much better either no detail at all, sorry Revell completely un exceptable, had to resort to after market resin parts to correct the deficiency, come on Revell pull your fingers out and correct these deficiencies, otherwise forget the Revell model and buy the airfix kit instead as it is a lot better not perfect but better than the Revell offeringmodel is ok for a static model of the Saturn V IF you don`t take it apart for display, as the second stage motors bear no resemblance to any rocket motors at all and completely devoid of any detail whatsoever, the third stage is not much better either no detail at all, sorry Revell completely un exceptable, had to resort to after market resin parts to correct the deficiency, come on Revell pull your fingers out and correct these deficiencies, otherwise forget the Revell model and buy the airfix kit instead as it is a lot better not perfect but better than the Revell offering

A must have Revell Classic for fans of The Space Race.
As a child of the Sixties, all things to do with The Space Race, NASA, CCCP, Cosmonauts, Saturn V, Mercury etc. were essential learning. So I am delighted that I have finally got my hands on this Revell Classic Kit. I have no idea where I will display the finished model as it stands some 3' Tall. Great model, and great parent child task
This is a very detailed model of the saturn 5 rocket, You'll need to help a child build it, but what better way to have quality parent / child time? Needs some space to display once its built, and it might not survive being played with by a boisterous older child, as it splits up into the stages.
