  • Good quality paint

The Rust-Oleum Stone paint is the best stone paint that I've actually found out there and believe me I've looked. You have to hold it a good distance away from what you're spraying in order for it to go on properly otherwise you'll leave spots. You really need to follow the directions carefully. It comes out looking well with the gray plus white and black spots throughout. I can't remember if they recommended on the can but put it in an underlying color beneath the stone is sometimes a good idea. That way you avoid any uncovered areas. But as I said if you spray it from a distance it will cover properly.
