Starring Michael Crawford, Oliver Reed and Barbara Carrera, a cartoonist adopts the identity of his own winged creation Condorman. While highly improbable and out-of-date politics, this Batman/James Bond-ish hero lands himself in outrageously funny scenarios in a back to back, packed action flick capturing the very feel of the late 70's and early 80's. Woody, a comic book artist looking for inspiration for a story, is vacationing with his friend Harry in Paris. Harry works for the United States Embassy and is given a project which he asks Woody to help him with. Sent on a whirlwind adventure he meets the lovely Natalia and falls hopelessly in love. The adventure just starts there when Woody gives a false name to the drop off contact which starts a series of events that snowball into a great getaway chase. A true Disney family film with something for everyone.Read full review
I bought this movie because we are trying to find older movies that are clean family films to watch with our 11 year old son. I remember watching Condorman over and over again when I was younger and could not wait to watch it again. It's action packed, very comedic, has a good guy vs bad guy edge, and is an overall great movie. Anything Disney made in the 1960-1980 era is great to go back and watch with your kids. It's fun to point out what old cars, telephones, computers, etc. looked like back then. I would recommend this movie to anyone that is looking for that nostalgic feeling to pass down to their children/grandchildren. A+
The Disney movie, Condorman, was my son's all time favorite when he was in elementary school. A fun adventure movie enjoyable for the whole family, rare indeed. And the whole family did enjoy this one very much. I had lost track of it for the last 12 or so years. When the subject came up lately, I decided to try to find a copy of the movie. Although I was unable to find one in DVD, I did locate a good VHS copy on Ebay. And everyone will watch this one until I find one in DVD format. This is one my son will keep. At the "happily ever after" ending they eluded to a possible sequel, but to my knowledge that never happened. Wish it had.
This is such a great family movie! I used to watch it all of the time when I was young! A great film for the whole family and people of all ages!
Wow - a classic. Brought back lots of great memories. The corniest of the corny, and we love every minute of it. Barbara Carerra is hot!
Fun to re-live childhood. Yes it's a bit outdated, but if you watched it as a kid, you'll love it. Especially the car!
This is a movie that for some time We wanted to own. It is old and not a perfect one, but it is as they describe it, and we have enjoyed it.
