Good Racing Game if you like it more realistic. I have been playing many racing games over the years long before from the Italian plumber racing to the latest Forza. The Game reminds me of GPL (Grand Prix Legends) GPL was harder but that was more down to computer limitations struggling to play it. Project cars lets you set-up your own races with ease with the cars you want its very realistic, so you might find it a challenge if you think you can race but have only been playing more Arcade type racing games.

The game is difficult, don't get me wrong but it's been overblown. The main difficulty is the player having the patience to learn the mechanics and play the game. The easiest way to show this is that out of all my playthroughs, my first one took me the longest, not by a short number either. My first run took 30 hours to complete, my subsequent runs all take less than 8 hours. Aside from difficulty, the world is amazing and all connected. You can walk from the end of it back to the start whenever you please, however there is a fast travel option which you will probably use a lot. The enemy design is unique and there are SO many types of enemies to fight. To fight those enemies you have your equipment. Weapons, shields, sorcery, pyromancy, miracles, bows, armour and rings. These all play a massive part on what build you play and how you play the game and it would be an understatement to say that the game's equipment and build potential is versatile. Most weapons in the game use a thing that in game is called "Attribute Bonus" but it is most often referred to as "Scaling". This means that depending on the weapon's scaling rank, a certain stat can boost its damage, which is great and another point towards build versatility. If you have a sword that you like that has S Tier strength scaling, running a strength build would make sense as you would reach the maximum potential from that weapon. Most weapons start off with mediocre scaling however upgrading them and infusing them with different gems that you find throughout the game will change the scaling rank and can completely change a weapon and the build you go for based around that weapon. You don't need to worry about messing up your build either, as if you do upgrade the wrong stat, there's an area fairly early on which allows you to respec your build and choose what levels you want to go into certain things, at the cost of an item that can be found around the world or by winning PvP scenarios. This is great design in my opinion, or would be if it weren't for the fact that you can only do it 5 times per playthrough. Which leads me into my next point: New Game +. After the final credits you are asked if you want to enter "Journey 2". This removes all your key items (keys, quest lines etc) and puts you right back at the start with all the equipment and levels, while increasing the difficulty slightly by raising health and damage of enemies and bosses. Speaking of bosses, they are designed incredibly. They don't often feel like they'd be out of place as a final boss for any other game. They all are incredibly unique and unforgettable and are sure to last you some time as you figure out their moveset and weaknesses. Because you will die to them, alot. And that's where the pleasure comes from in dark souls. In a world where everything is either trying to kill you or is already dead, overcoming the challenges they come your way leave you with a completely unique feeling of accomplishment whenever you do it. The game is incredibly complex and definitely deserves at least 1 playthrough from everyone.Read full review
