Amnesic assassin Jason Bourne stars in his first video game courtesy of Sierra Entertainment. Featuring a story developed in collaboration with screenwriter Tony Gilroy, The Bourne Conspiracy lets players delve deeper into the protagonist's past and the events surrounding his tormented training within a black ops division of the CIA. Players will guide Bourne through cinematic chase scenes and a seamless mix of hand-to-hand and ranged combat.
Throughout each exotic environment, players must quickly recognize potential threats, perform quick takedowns, and use their surroundings to either gain an advantage or escape from danger. Players will revisit key moments from the first film, including the dramatic Mini Cooper chase scene through narrow, crowded Parisian streets while being pursued by police. To match the films' fast-paced visual style, the developers crafted the combat system with the help of choreographer Jeff Imada, who worked on the fight sequences in the first three movies.

Ok this is a Title I kinda of longed for and when it came out I got it as fast as I could. I love the Bourne Titles as movies and couldn't wait to see how it translated into a video game. I know I know like most video game movie titles I wasn't expecting much but just from cinematic and other shots online it looked to be promising.
The game starts out in one of Bourne's Earlier missions that you don't get from the movie. Just One other thing I liked from the game is that it lets you play missions you here about in the movie or some you don't even know. But they do a good job from jumping from one scene from the movie to the next.
Well lets get down to the nitty Gritty. Over all I loved the game It packed some hard hitting and also some great Bourne moments that let you feel like your really Jason Bourne. But what I have to say bad about this title is that Its Very HIGHLY repetitive. The fighting style is great for that first couple of missions and learning it does not take a highly skilled gamer...which is a good thing....but after going trough some of the longer missions the engaging of enemies either in hand to hand, shooting, or hand to hand take downs or shooting take downs get a little same ole same. After you see each takedown they he has to offer you kinda just end up playing the game just to get to the end and and stop enjoying it. I'm not saying at all did they the developers do a bad job of the game but they really don't give you an encentive to go on with the game but that...just to finish.
They are no upgrades the weapons really only change once, They are different types but you get the same enjoyment as the first one. either one had gun and one assault rifle or one hand gun and one shot gun......Nothing else. Same damage each hand gun give is the same the other hand gun is going to do and vice versa for assault rifles and shotguns. Fighting style stays the same through out the whole game and there is really only one driving mission. Of course the physics weren't up to par but they did what they did. They could be better but I understand their focus elsewhere.
I will say that the fighting style was broken up at times by one button cinematic that were different from the one button takedowns which did help a little. It was fun to see Bourne go into a movie like scene where he dodges a bullit while jumping over a balcony falling backward while capping off one in a guys head that was cool and really well done. but they only have a few really spectacular ones the others just get it over with or move the story along. like sliding under a door before it closes or dodging something or alone thos lines
All in all a fun game with no real re-play value once its over you don't feel like playing it again. Fun Experience but it can go back on the shelf.Read full review
This is a fun 5-6 hr game. One time play, I play games only once so not complaining but there’s nothing to go back and do for people that like to do a second play through . Once you beat the game you are done. The hand to hand combat is fun, shooting is terrible. It’s no gears of war when it comes to cover shooting, it’s basically that crouch under cover pop out and shoot, that’s where the problem lies, the aim assist, when you pop out the crosshairs doesn’t snap to the enemy and manually aiming is clunky. Also Bourne will get stuck to some object in the environment and he’ll just keep running in the same spot. I got killed because of this. So yes movement is clunky as well. Still looking back it was fun. It’s short so it makes the clunky controls and aiming less annoying. If the story he dragged on few more hours it would’ve been frustrating. Also the story is weird but it’s a movie tie-in so go watch the movie I guess to get all answers.Read full review
I have played the first four levels and, overall, this is a fun game. It's not very hard, unlike most shooting games. You just have to wait to get health back. I don't even like shooting games, but this one's alright. There is a good mix of shooting, fighting, and suspense so that it doesn't get boring. some levels have more shooting, and others have more hand-to-hand combat. The bourne instinct button is really cool. it auto-aims your gun and tells you what to do when you need help. The cutscenes are awesome and really add to the amazing bourne feeling. The airport level is my favorite, i think it's the second or third level. If you like bourne or action games, then get this one.
I'll be the first to admit that I had zero interest in this game when it came out. It kind of reminded me of the 24 game. I thought it would be a cheesy ripoff just trying to get some money out of unsuspecting casual gamers. I read a few reviews recently and they peaked my interest so I decided to buy it. I got it very cheap(12 bucks) so its hard to have anything negative to say when it was that cheap. The hand to hand combat is fun but does get repetitive. Some of the moves are absolutely brutal. The gun play is average at best. All in all I give it a 7.5-8 out of 10 from what I played so far and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys 3rd person shooters. And lets not forget about the vicious hand to hand combat. If you can get it for under 20 bucks, pick it up. You might be surprised as I was.Read full review
If you enjoyed the Bourne Trilogy you'll enjoy this game. Although not in the same class in terms of gameplay or controls as a Modern Warfare 2, this game has a unique fighting system that I found quite fun. I plan to keep it in the games library for the foreseeable future and play boss battles and parts of the game every now and again when I want to get the thrill of kicking someone's behind like only Jason Bourne can.
