Den Ausgangspunkt dieser Arbeit bilden UEberlegungen uber Erfahrungen aus einer Unterrichtsreihe - Gewalt im 20. Jahrhundert am Beispiel des Ersten und Zweiten Weltkrieges, die in einer 9. Klasse einer Gesamtschule durchgefuhrt wurde. Die Frage, wie auf dem Hintergrund der veranderten Erinnerung an den Nationalsozialismus mit dem demographischen Wandel (Generationenfolge und Einwanderung) im historisch-politischen Unterricht in der Schule uber Nationalsozialismus umzugehen ist, bildet das Thema dieser Arbeit. Im vorliegenden Werk wird die Fragestellung auf drei Ebenen thematisiert: 1. Aus welcher bildungstheoretischen Perspektive soll der Nationalsozialismus vermittelt werden? Was bedeutet dies fur die methodisch-didaktische Umsetzung im Unterricht? 2. Wie soll der Nationalsozialismus padagogisch bearbeitet werden? Was sollen die Schuler aus der Geschichte lernen? Was sind die moralischen Lernziele? 3. Welche fachlichen Anforderungen verlangt dies von den Lehrenden?
