It was not explained to me why the piston and cylinder could not be delivered. I suspect the item was not available or not of sufficient quality. However, a refund was processed quickly and communication was prompt and helpful around identifying the item and making a refund. I ordered it twice and was refunded twice. So problem eventually solved. I also found another supplier offering an alternative product.
