for most of my bass playing life, being a creature of habit I have always used ROTOSOUND SWING BASS 66 strings and thought I would never change. the only reason I ever had a set of nexus strings on one of my instruments in the first place, is because they were on when I bought the bass. I must say I was actually quite impressed. not only with the sleek looks, but because I had taken a long break since last playing I found the polymer coated strings were far easier on my fingers after long practice sessions and I find that i'm not having to change strings as often with the nexus ones because they seem to stay "alive" for a lot longer. the only drawback (if you can call it one) is they seem to take longer to stretch in when first fitted so you tend to have to retune a little more often before they settle. overall ? love em !Read full review

The A string delaminated/uncoiled when winding on. Brand new unplayed in the dustbin. I've been playing 25 years. Shame because they looked nice on my P bass.

The ideal strings for the precision bass (copy) I've converted to fretless. They feel smooth against the fingerboard and pack some punch. Comfortable to play, even for long sessions.
