About this product

Product Information

'A Battle of the First World War fought with the weapons of the Second'. Military experts have long agreed that it would hardly be possible to find a better example of an impregnable natural defensive barrier on the road to Rome than that provided by Monte Cassino.

  • An excellent book covering Cassino, a must read for serious readers

To be honest this is one of the best books I have read covering Monte Cassino, it is concise and easy reading - unfortunately modern writers seem to think that the bigger the book the better it must be to the reader. If you have any interest in this period give this book a go, you will not be disappointed.
