After a week of use
I’m very impressed with this unit after a week of use. Holds power effortlessly and powers 2000w heaters,kettles, power tools you name it this unit powers it all. With two 230v uk plug sockets it’s usable straight out of the box no buying of special adapters. Also comes with an array of small extras to fix the unit if it breaks. The only downside is it is quite noisy, but I’ve found by buying a webasto diesel heater exhaust and muffler pipe and connecting it to the unit, it’s made it over 25% quieter and also doesn’t effect efficiency or the engine idol. Overall this is a decent generator I’d recommend to anyone I’m very impressed with this unit after a week of use. Rubbish Generator
I purchased this generator to power a 3rd aerator on my fishery , I already have 1 other very similar generators that start and work perfectly well but this didn't even try to start. If it had been a second hand generator, I could except it but not a brand new product. My advice would be do not buy this product.

Second time lucky
Purchased this generator back in February, with the aim to use on a fencing job in the middle of a farm. Unfortunately after less then 3 hours of work it broke. No outward power then the pull cord jammed. Luckily we were able use someone else’s. Contact machine mart, who were very good and arranged for it to be picked up. Bit of a pain having to drain the fuel and oil out, but obviously this has to be done for safety in transit. About a week or so later I got it back fully repaired, apparently the dynamo was faulty and was replaced. Used it a couple times and it seemed fine. Then it’s been stored away up until last week. Really put it to the test last week and it’s been brilliant!! Pretty much run for most of the day every day on cement mixers and other tools and it’s not missed a ... Met all my requirements & expectations , charges car batteries, powers the lights in my house, microwave, plus a small electric oil filled radiator. Perfect in the event of a power cut. Would highly recommend this product if you are looking for a backup source of electric power or to use remotely outdoors. When I found this generator online I was amazed by the price for the features and power of the unit. I immediately purchased and quickly realised I had bought the non electric start. I phoned the guys at Union Mart and this was quickly and competently dealt with and the following day my purchase arrived as specified. I then unboxed and assembled my item (although assembly is attaching four rubber feet and connecting the battery) filled with fuel and specified quantity of oil set the choke turned the key and instantly it sprang to life, My only disappointment is the db level is probably higher than specified but that isn't really an issue.
