Item received in the mint (actually better than mint) description as described. Seller ensured that the item was properly packaged (one of the best protective record mailers I have ever seen) and shipped to ensure mint condition delivery (other sellers of should note to safely package like this seller did and then maybe there would not be so many returns due to shipping damage). KUDO to this seller, a rock-solid seller all the way around (the seller actually loves vinyl records and proves it).

    Godzilla versus the sea monster

Overall this movie is very bizarre as the main monster in this movie is not a giant alien from outer space that shoots lasers is the giant lobster the garden island as if you’re purchasing the DVD you are a know what you’re getting into overall this is an OK Godzilla movie although it is very boring in the beginning and middle disappointing also this movie was meant to be a Frankenstein movie not a Godzilla movie as shown when they awaken Godzilla by using lightning yeah lightning very odd for Godzilla there again is another point that this movie was meant to be a king Kong whatever my guess is that they chose Godzilla because it has more marquis value good movie but skip to the middle of it if you really want to see the action walk-through in the poster seems to play a big role in the ...

  • Brilliant film - American and Japanese versions.

After purchasing a remote hack (since the DVD was region 1), I was able to watch this movie. Yes, I watched the dubbed American version; yes, it's great mid 60's Toho monster movie mayhem, the highlight is the tennis match between Ebirah the giant prawn and Godzilla! You can nearly see the wires that puppet the boulders between Ebirah and Godzilla!!! It must have been murder for the Japanese stuntmen inside Ebirah and Big G in the large water tank for those scenes; the films are labelled "Monster horror" - in truth, it's Monster comedy, and this is one of several films where Godzilla is the good creature. Bonus - Mothra (the giant moth) appears near the end and rescues everyone off the island, since the Seatopians (the "alien" visitors) set their equipment to destroy it. Summary: ...

  • Needs More Action

Let's cut to the chase - Godzilla movies are all about the monsters, the mayhem they create and the fierce battles they have with one another. Well this movie, although still enjoyable for any fan, is a bit slow paced. How slow paced? - Let's just say that the initial scenes of Godzilla, are him sleeping and he's like that for about half of an hour. While the fight scenes that are present are decent and live up to just about all Godzilla standards, I just felt like more could have been done. I do, however, enjoy the fact that Godzilla is technically a bad guy in this film, he just happens to destroy the villain's monster. Too much time is spent on the people and their story, not enough on the monsters. I suppose the cameo by Mothra is worth mentioning, although it really only is about a 10 ...

  • Godzilla vs. The Sea Monster review

An entertaining entry from the mid 60s, this film has a reputation of being a lesser entry due to the fact that it takes place on an island. However I think the setting works well, as it's a nice change of pace from the alien invasion and city smashing from the previous entries. One drawback is Godzilla himself, the suit looks rough and you can see it wearing down during the course of the film. All in all, it's an enjoyable change of pace in the series. Definitely worth a watch
