Product Information

Board Game Top Shop is a game of property management similar to Monopoly. The game takes place in eight malls of varying sizes, each with its own layout. The object is to reach the required asset level, or to drive a certain number of opponents into bankruptcy. Success depends on both strategy and luck, as many outcomes are determined by "pencil rolls" (the game's version of dice) and drawing event cards. There are 11 characters from which to choose and up to six competitors can play at once. During each turn, players can open of 44 different stores, accept deliveries, or expand the size their existing businesses.

Product arrived about 10 days later in a small envelope with no packaging except a single 4x3 inch square of bubble wrap. The disc worked as intended but the shipping condition was very poor despite it being free shipping. The lack of response from the seller was also concerning but seeing as the disc arrived unbroken and functional I am leaving a positive review.

    Fun, Cutely Designed Multiplayer Shop-buying Board Game

    This is an entertaining, cutely animated board game with neat shop names and characters and their animations/personalities. The graphics are as it would be from the early PS1 era, but it works perfectly with the style of game play. As a match develops and more stores are bought/sold the intensity picks up, learning what the special events do and seeing how other players or AI use their points as they collect them. The closer someone gets to the goal score, the intensity picks up even more! It is a very fun multiplayer game for a bunch of people. Very enjoyable find!

    Love this game

    Bought this because I used to play it and I had a yearning to do so again... it’s just as addictive and fun as it was back then. It’s a great way to distract yourself from anything you need to avoid for a little while. In my spouse’s words, “this would be an excellent way to waste a day”.
