Este libro, dirigido a los ingenieros, arquitectos, tecnicos y estudiantes dedicados al rubro de la construccion, muestra a traves de ejemplos sencillos y didacticos las recomendaciones a seguir para disenar y presentar en planos edificaciones antisismicas. El presente texto se perfila como una herramienta basica de consulta donde el interesado encontrara el diseno integral de una edificacion antisismica. Abarca la concepcion arquitectonica; el diseno de todos los elementos estructurales, tales como losas, vigas, columnas, muros de concreto reforzado, zapatas aisladas y cimentacion continua; las verificaciones de diseno simplificado y el ingreso de informacion de datos al programa con la respectiva interpretacion de los resultados, culminando con la presentacion del diseno de estos elementos en el plano.
