I raised this issue with the seller and their first reaction was to shift the blame. I did not receive any form of apology and instead communication was very rude and aggressive given the straightforward circumstances. It became clear to me that the watch was broken prior to shipping (supported by the listing photos in hindsight) and was sold at a higher price anyway.
