    Slightly heavier duty than a firestik spring for "5' antenna".

    Spring has a ground wire inside it. It is wider in the center which helps to keep it from bending just a little, compared to firestik heavy duty. All in all, it's not that much heavier duty. But...I am using a 7' firestik. So, when I drive it still arches back quite a but, it protect it from damage. And I can still pull it down for securing like a humvee. I would buy again.

    Heavy duty Antenna shock spring

    it is what it says and it holds up with my 6ft whip at speeds over 90 mph and above. Solid. I have yet to find a con. Has worked perfectly for my application.
