Very nice for the price, needs some additional work though

Great guitar for the price. You will need to go get it setup for intonation issues....the stock pickups are alright for stock ones but I recommend getting something better. The edges of the frets will also have to be filed off or you will end up cutting your hands. A great entry level 7 string. Expect to put 100-150 dollars into it to make it worth your while.

  • Pristine Jackson Dinky

The guitar came early and was packaged extremely well. It came in a large cardboard box. Inside was a guitar shaped box. Inside that box was another smaller guitar box. And inside that box was a brand new guitar. It still had the plastic over the pre-strung 7 strings. It was almost in tune. Decent strings too. It came in pristine condition. It sounds amazing! My husband just adores his Jackson dinky flat black 7 string guitar.

  • A sleek 7-string for a nice price

Great look, great feel, in person. Pickups might need changing or the string gauge is to light. The sound is not tight like I'm used to. I'm hoping for a better sound when I up the string gauge. Very good for the $200 price though.

  • Great for price

The guitar is a great beginner instrument or a great don't care if it gets beat up, back up guitar. I plan on taking it with me while driving truck, to get back into playing guitar. Also will be a fun one to "hot rod" up a bit farther down the road.

  • The Jackson JS22-7 is a good seven string starting or project guitar.

The Jackson JS22-7 is a good seven string starting or project guitar. The nut and tuners are the first two things to change but honestly they are usable. There we no sharp fret edges but needed some leveling and polishing which is totally fine. The pickups were surprisingly nice sounding. This is my first 7 strings guitar and quite possible will get a pro tier one in the future.
