    Slightly Disappointing But Still 5 Stars

    This was the only Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac compilation I could find that contained the majority of my favourite tracks. The only track I'm missing on this CD is "I Can't Hold Out" but I have it on a "Live" album, so went for this. It's slightly disappointing because some of the tracks seem weaker than normal, as though they have been recorded for TV. I also could have done without the customary "Albatross," but all in all, this is a really good compilation album, which aptly gives the listener an insight into this legendary band, and of course, the genius that was Peter Green. It's well worth 5 stars in spite of my own personal disappointments.

    Brilliant British Blues.

    Blues player/composer Peter Green show cased - what a genius! But together with the other members of the band (all wonderful musicians) a blues contradiction is created - tight but free-flowing music. British blues at its best.

    Talented people are not amazing, they expand their inner creativity,&imagination & WORK at it...

    The very best of Blues Rock, listening to these tracks for 50 years... a true set of classics by people who wrote, played, performed for love, not money, and it shows, still after all these years. Genius is an over used word in popular music today, but Peter Green really was, & Fleetwood Mac were special...then & although very different...still pretty good!!

    Great Great Guitarist lots of memories, I had Oh Well on a 7inch single when it first got released.l was lucky to see Peter Green about 10 years ago in concert shame he was not around for 30 years he is up there as one of the best.
