My dentist recommended this brand, I purchased a cheaper brand that had to be boiled to fit and was very uncomfortable and made my mouth hurt the next day. Dentek product is very comfortable and affordable.

Smells
I think the product is good enough and the concept is great but I can't get beyond the smell/taste of it. I cleaned it, let it sit out for days and days, soaked it in denture cleaner, but still the unpleasant smell/taste persists. I cannot use it. It will probably work great for someone who is not as sensitive to odors and tastes as I am but for me, it was a failed effort.

More comfortable than a mouthguard
This product works well for teeth grinding and clenching at night and is much more comfortable than a full mouth guard. It cannot be used as a mouth guard (athletic type). They last quite a long time and there is two of them in the box so I think even at 29.00 it is a good buy.

Super easy to use and clean (I use denture tablets), great value for money, very comfortable -- I hardly even know it's there! I have been using these mouthguards (one every six months) for the past few years and I no longer get the bad headaches or jaw pain that I once got from night-time teeth grinding. Such a relief!

Den Tek is for me.
I have been using this product for years.It is the Only thing that I use to prevent grinding my teeth.I would recommend this for anyone that needs an aid for grinding. I have tried several,and this one seems like the best for the money. It is lightweight and no need to boil. It is reasdy to go.

suggesting skip this version of "night" guard
This product intends comfort but the front "rail" is so floppy there's no way I'd expect this to stay in place while I slept and worse, I'd fear swallowing this in my sleep. While I appreciate the design's intent, I don't believe it's suitable to purpose: night time use.

A step up from the normal mouth guard.
It's not like a full mouth guard, actually quite small, but very good for my particular need. It is adjustable so many can wear it regardless of the mouth size. It covers the exact spot I need protecting so I was very pleased. It says it will last approximately 6 months so with the two guards, I have a years protection for around 15 dollars. Very well thought out item.
