Great little gizmo, does what it says - if you have standard walls that is.
Magnets are very strong. Takes a little time to understand the layout of a standard wall, but when you do find a stud/nail/screw, it's easy enough to work out what lies beneath. Does what it says. Great little addition to the toolbox. eE

Simple but effective
Having messed around with an electronic stud finder before I was not convinced it was very accurate. This is the most simple way to find studs with screws and nails in. Might take a bit of searching but you can be totally confident you've hit ferrous metal.
