  • Great item if you can find and/or afford it.

Past experience showed me that this chain lasts MUCH longer (so your cassette will, too) than the lower quality HG93 chain. I get way over 4,000 miles on these before replacement (I believe I got over 8,000 miles, and the bike store chain wear tool showed 4,000 miles of wear (and the shop owner did not believe I could have gotten that mileage with so little wear). Too bad Shimano discontinued this great product.

  • Dura Ace doesn't get any better.

The top of the line for Shimano is Dura Ace. The lightest, in some cases the strongest but all cases the best. In this case being a lighter chain, they do stretch soon than the lesser models but that's the price you pay for weight savings. This is all I've used and ran for 26 years of riding and will continue till something better comes along.

  • It's a chain

It makes the wheel go. Never had a single problem with any Shimano chain. I think this particular chain is now out of production.
