When I received the reel, one turn of the crank handle disclosed that the main gear was striped. I contacted the seller, and he offered a full refund. "It appears;" the seller did not test the reel before offering it for sale. So, it "appears"; the new synonym for, "BUYER BEWARE", is "appears". Because the reel "appears" good, I will keep it and use it for parts. It "appears", I cannot recommend this seller.

Both arrived substantially broken. Seller not only packed it properly, but packed it with extra protection against the all too common carrier mishandling--dropping, putting under s.t. way too heavy, etc. KUDOS to Seller.
