    Fun R rated comic book film

    I'm not reviewing the film here (that's what the 4 stars I gave it represents), I writing about the UHD bluray version of it. It's ok. Don't get me wrong, the 4k version looks noticeably better, it just isn't necessary if you already have the standard bluray. I have yet to see a single UHD disc with anything other than the film on it. No extras, or outtakes, nothing. That's why they all come with the standard bluray in the case, but who wants to switch discs around? Too much work for all this expensive "new" technology. $30 is also pretty steep a price for a film unless you absolutely love it. This is a fun film, but if I didn't get a good price, I still wouldn't own it.

    Comic book characters done right

    Hilarious movie with spot-on characters and excellent writing. Ryan Reynolds is amazing and totally owns Deadpool with his asides to the audience and fourth-wall breaking one liners. "It's like the studio couldn't afford another X-man." But be warned. This movie is NOT FOR KIDS!

    4K and digital copy

    4k looks great. Came with the HDX but not the UHDX Digital copy. 4k blu ray is the best format though so I'll just use that.

    Entertaining and a good balance of humor

    I would never have reached out for this one, but I heard a few reviews and decided to give it a shot. Lot's of action and funny comments making this a recommended movie for sure. I even upgraded it to a 4-k, meaning it's a keeper and will watch again. PJJS

    4K makes the humor sharper along with the image

    Why simply be over the top when you can go all the way? That's the philosophical foundation of "Deadpool", in which the superhero is neither super nor heroic and both the comedy and the violence are completely outrageous. This could be the first film since the last real "Pink Panther" to be entirely based on the whims and sense of humor of its star. What's really amazing is that it works!
