    Amazing German vinyl with different mixes

    This version of Nirvana's In Utero features different mixes on the songs Heart Shaped Box and All Apologies. The mixes are from Steve Albini, the person who mixed the rest of the album. The prominent differences for these two songs would be the reduced vocals and less backing vocals, which provides the songs with more realistic and emotional vocals. As for the vinyl pressing, the quality is excellent. It doesn't sound like the usual noisy "remastered" vinyl that you usually get if you buy a Nirvana album new. Finally, my one issue with this particular pressing is that the digital download code gives you downloads for the original mixes, not the ones on this vinyl. It's not enough to make me take away the perfect score, but I thought I should mention it.

    One of their best albums. I sure wish Kurt was still around. Generation band who changes the game forever. They single handedly changes rock and roll and killed hair bands at the same town.

    Try harder next time

    Album came wrapped in flimsy paper which resulted in a bent cover. Records should always be shipped in solid cardboard.
