    This is the original classic series from 1964 - all 26 episodes.

    This has always been my favorite cartoon and to me, possibly the best ever made. If you've seen even one episode you might already know how good this cartoon was. There were only 26 episodes, after which ABC cancelled the series due to the high cost of producing each one. The art quality, writing, and stories were always top-notch, probably because the veteran 1950's - '60's comic book artist Doug Wildey was on board to design the characters. The animation was a compromise between realism and economy, since every episode was expensive enough to begin with. But the art was uncompromising and always stunning. The villains in the story were always not only evil evil evil but sometimes borderline bizarre, featuring former Nazi war criminals, mad scientists, bizarre creatures, amazing ...

    This Jonny Quest has aged well. Ready for a new generation.

    It's great to own a TV program I grew up watching as a boy. Eager to show it to my boys (35 and 39) and to the grandkids. The only thing that prevented that fifth star was the censoring done by the political correctness police. Our generation produced a pretty good crop of adults. Sorry to see busy-bodies fussing around like that, thinking we were so bad. Service was top-notch. Quality product otherwise.

And this one brings back a lot of memories. This was one of those that was before my time but I still got to see reruns on cartoon network in the 90s.     The BEST adventure cartoon series of all time

    Wonderfully remastered digitally clean cartoon classics. Better than my memories of it! Hanna-Barbara's adventures of a young boy (voiced by ANIMAL HOUSE alum Tim Matheson). his dog, his pal, Race Bannon and Dr. Quest as they play to an audience at home saturated on James Bond pop culture circa 1965. The animation was darker stuff, influenced by Marvel comics at the time, and created by Doug Wildey. This stuff may be dated, but that just adds to the coolness.

    Wonderful child-like memories of Saturday morning cartoons...

    For one thing, I grew up on watching "Jonny Quest" every Saturday morning. It was one of the most engaging, thrilling, exciting cartoon shows on TV to watch. I couldn't get enough of it! The quality of this DVD was great. I didn't have any problems viewing it on my player -- no skipping, no stopping, it was of perfect working order. Sometimes, that's not the case. However, this particular DVD has been working fine.
