    Adventures of Superman - Return to 1950's TV

    The Adventures of Superman had to be one of the most popular television shows of the 1950's. As a young boy I certainly remember being glued to the old B&W TV every week for the next episode. This DVD collection of 5 discs has all 26 episodes of the first season, with additional features including the theatrical release of Superman and the Mole Men (minus Jimmy Olson!), and original Kellogg's cereal commercials. This is a fun series to watch, not just for nostalgia, but also with a more observing eye! Why is it that no matter what town or city Clark Kent is in, he always runs into the same alley to change into his Superman costume? Likewise, whether he's in Perry White's office, Lois Lane's office, or his own office, he always runs into the same closet to change? It's fun to observe other ...

    They packaged it well, and I've enjoyed watching the first season, but I wish I had bought this when it was less expensive. I've always wanted to have this in my library, and I waited too long.

    Superman is Super !

    You have to be a child that was growing up in the 50's and early 60's to appreciate The Adventures of Superman ! Brings back a lot of childhood memories ! Really , watching it again now , in the order it was released , is pretty neat for me ! I was born in 1951 , the first year it was on TV ! By the time I was 7 years old , I was watching the reruns of the first season ! Kind of corny stuff , but entertaining also !

    This dvd set (seasons 1&2) takes you back to your childhood, if you were born in the 50's. A great way to enjoy a rainy day!

    I was surprised to see some black & white episodes, I never saw before, and I thought I had seen all. I will find some time soon to see any others, I may not have seen.
