    shipping was slow. Well packaged, which is also appreciated since the post office and other carriers seem to destroy every package nowadays. It doesn't matter if it's USPS, UPS or Fed X, In Florida they destroy every package they handle. Almost every package i receive is either torn open, crushed, mutilated, destroyed or the contents missing.     lower quality then years past.

    Hurst products are well known to be the best over decades of product availability, but they are decreasing in quality. The last boot I bought about 5 years ago was of better quality,thicker rubber,larger and heavier chrome trim. Placing them side to side it is obvious someone decided to cheapen up this once fine product.

    Flat from storage

    Boot was stored for must have been a long time with something heavy on it. The boot rubber was totally squashed flat. The protective film for the chrome trim piece was very dried out and stuck to the metal. I needed it to complete the installation and used tie straps on the shifter handle to stretch out the boot. I hope it will eventually return to it's correct shape over time.

    A good finish for Hurst Shifter.

    The quality is average. It does work to finish the boot area for my 66 Mustang with a Hurst Comp. Plus shifter.
