Great entry level ND Filter. Fid my Canon t3i & defiantly recommend this to a friend needed to protect their lens from any scratches. Although this is not a F1-4 stop, it does darken the image very little so you can open up your lens for proper exposure. I'd rate this 9/10.

This was a low cost Hoya filter that was supposed to be multicoated. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for. Upon close examination with various light sources, the surface acted like a normal mirror. A good multicoated filter should attenuate the reflected light and give only a faint colored reflection. Poorly coated filters will cause image degradation if there is a light source near the subject.

Bought this mainly to be a lens bumper on my daughters new camera. So far it has not degraded the sharpness or color of any of the photographic images produced by the camera.

Very good thin Frame UV/Clear filter !! The thin frame is a plus for wide angle lenses !

I have the same filter from another well-known brand and between these two there is a huge quality difference. This one (Hoya) by far the winner!
