The Royal Tenenbaums
A brilliant film from the writters of 'The life aquatic with Steve Zissou', and 'Rushmore'.Its a great Black Comedy about the Tenebaums, a dysfunctional family of genius's, all brought together to the family home, for the first time in years, by their 'dying' father(Gene Hackman). One of the best films, none of the sickening Hollywood b*****t,just great acting, quirky characters and a beautifully directed and narated film. I can't recomend it enough. One of my best ebay buys. Love it Watch it if you love: Amelie, Eternal Sunsjine,Rushmore, Life aquatic with Steve Zissou, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, and buffalo 66! It's obvious that this film divides opinions. All I would say is that its well worth the risk. If you like it then you'll love it. As a film lover i've seen a fair few and this is one of only a small number that i can come back to and watch again and again. Brilliant
