The original one is best.
Yes,it was scary in its day but how time flies!!! I have seen this SO many times but watched it with 4 kids who hadn't----and yes,they were jumpy now and then.On the whole they liked it but were mainly cheering for' HARRY'[won't say any more!!]Didn't like the re-make ----not as good but then a lot of re-makes fall foul also.if you want something to watch on a dark, cold,rainy night---this might just do the trick.Yes,it was scary in its day but how time flies!!! The fantastic old with the special effects of the new. Great horror!
The Amityville Horror (old version) is truly one of cinema's greatest horror masterpieces. It depicts the story of America's most famous haunted house and the lives of a young family who reside there. I purchased the item as I have had a long standing interest in the supernatural and as such, The Amityville House was of great fascination to me. I have to be honest and say I prefer the old version to the 21st century remake - the old horrors have that unexplainable edge to them. I bought the product to experience the old film as well as view the new one for the first time. Hi this a good set of the original Amytiville horror and what happened to the family when they bought the house after the infamous murders previously the 2005 DVD is also worth seeing would recommend as it is based on a true story and events
