Worth watching sometimes very amusing
Old enough to remember when the series was on tv, at the time a despised tv programme, now sentiment has made this dvd into a curious look in to the different and increasingly foreign England of today. Just as an observation this programme was popular in a lot of foreign countries and it is difficult to imagine the damage it did to the British reputation for being helpful and hard working. It is strange that the main character Stan is shown as chasing the clippies (bus conductors) and he was in his fifties in reality. Sadly Reg Varney did overact a litle bit. The best character in this sitcom is the miserable, sarcastic brother-in-law, Arthur and his dowdy wife Olive. But all things said and done, it is not a bad comedy and actually mocks the deplorable attitudes of the main characters who ... It was a great dvd.We had a good laugh and we could still remember the TV series.Why carnt we have comedy like that again.All the family Stan,Olive,Aurther,Mum and Blakey were so funny and well acted.I have gone on to get buy the rest of the set.BRILLIANT

Great - One of the best
This really has got to be one of the funniest DVD's I have seen and this Series 2 is one of the funniest of all the series of On the Buses. Reg Varney is superb.
