If you are a fan of this film, or you are curious enough to buy it, and want to fully experience the visual effects and action, look elsewhere. This is a DVD that was given away in a promotion. It is not widescreen and the picture quality is TV broadcast quality. A casual viewer would be pleased with it, but as a die hard film fan I was not impressed. I immediately purchased the proper DVD release.If you are a fan of this film, or you are curious enough to buy it, and want to fully experience the visual effects and action, look elsewhere. I remember this as a kid, so I found it. So my kids 7 & 8 , can watch it. They really enjoyed it. Great classic film. Highly recommend. Well packed and excellent condition.

A classic sci-fi film from many people's childhoods. Granted the effects might seem a tad dated by today's standards but the story & premise of the film is rock solid. Definitely well worth a watch.
