  • Beefy wins the day

The most memorable test match ever seen, England seemed destined for another defeat when all of a sudden a switch clicked in England's best ever all-rounder Mr I T Botham. I like the explosive hitting and the way one man took the fight to a team of eleven Australians. The only dislike about the DVD is that it only shows the Headingly test match. I bought it because I thought it was the same Bothams Ashes which appears only available on video but it shows the full series, were again Boths swashbuckling innings at Old Trafford.

  • Couldn't have picked a better title

I was there that day with my dad and it was an absolutely fantastic atmosphere. This DVD finally allowed us to relive that day and now my nephew watches cricket with dad and he'll love it as well. Excellent DVD! A real must for anyone who likes cricket. The main section follows all five days of the match. But then look under special features and you'll find Botham's entire innings, every shot he made that day! Fantastic! A definite DVD to add to any cricket fan's collection whether you were there or not! Can't think of anything negative to say about it. Excellent! Buy it now!

  • Botham batters the Aussies

Great memories of a great game and nice interview with Ian Botham modestly and interestingly talking about the test. Bob Willis and Graham Dilley's key roles also shown Graham Dilley scored Equally in the Botham partnership and it seems to me he started it . DVD Showed a lot of the game and a seperate view of the 149 innings is good . Where were you when it happened ?
